Prism Gas Detection offers Model XP-702II Z Gas Detector from 'Cosmos', Japan (an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 company). This is an Extractive type model, a powerful tool for detecting combustible gases – LPG, CNG, Hydrogen – a is high sensitivity leak detector for combustible and toxic gases (as well as various CFCs). It easily and quickly locates leaks in pipes and fittings where conventional methods, such as soap solutions, are impracticable. The sensitivity is adjustable, and is high enough to test above ground for leaks in underground pipelines as well as concentrations as small as 10 ppm. The model is extensively used by the automotive industry to check minute leakages for their LPG and CNG vehicles. Salient features include: detects two types of gases with a single instrument; sensitive enough for above ground leak test; audio visual alarm frequency is in direct proportion to the gas concentration; hand- held, portable, with automatic pump; and long sensor life, compact and lightweight, fully intrinsic, safe and ruggedly constructed. Applications: in gas as well as other industries where combustible gases or vapours are used; locations of leaks in pipes and fittings, with ease; high sensitivity results in capability to test above ground for leaks in the underground pipelines. XP702IIZ comes with probe, filter/moisture trap, check gas, standard attachment, 3xAA alkaline dry cells, hand strap, spare filters as standard accessories. Large numbers of special accessories are available as optional such as probe for testing roadway surfaces, telescopic gas probe, earphone, etc. Gases detected are mostly combustible gases and vapours including catalyst poisoning gases such as hydrogen sulphide, methyl chloride, methyl bromide, vinyl chloride monomer, etc., and also the non-combustible gas like R-22.
