HBL Power Systems offers zero-maintenance, heavy-duty Engine Start Battery (PLT battery – 32 AH). The company, with more than 30 years of experience in specialised batteries, manufactures Ignite brand batteries. State-of-the-art pure lead tin technology helps deliver higher cranking current and longer shelf life (when not in use) than ordinary batteries. Features/benefits: high cranking current capability – smaller and lighter for the same job; zero maintenance – no specific gravity checks, no top-up of DI water during its life-time, no separate charging with charger, and no acidic/corrosive fumes; factory charged – delivered in filled and charged condition (ready to use); battery terminals with copper alloy – high electrical conductivity, reduced wear and tear, no loose contacts and sulphation of terminals; and low self-discharge – ensures start even after the vehicle is idle for several months. Applications: light commercial vehicles (jeeps, tractors, Eicher, Allwyn, Nissan, etc). LCV and HCV including buses, trucks, tractors and diesel forklifts, etc. These batteries comply with IEC 60095: 2000. The alternator output voltage must be between 13.8 to 14.2V to prevent damage to battery.
