Following voltages are recommended: for electroplating rectifiers – 0-18 V; for anodising rectifiers – 0-32 V; for hard chrome rectifiers – 0-125 V; and current ranges for above can be from 50 A to 10000 A. Rectifiers can be manufactured either in air-cooled or oil-cooled types only. Types of rectifiers in the regular manufacturing range include: electroplating rectifiers, variac controlled; SCR controlled rectifiers; and constant current/constant voltage rectifiers (thyristorised /auto transformer (variac).
