With use of thermal-oil as heating media there are chances of cooking oil contamination, also use of high pressure steam is expensive and falls inside the purview of boiler regulations. Direct fired cooking oil heater on the other hand allows rapid, uniform external heating of cooking (edible) oil with temperature accuracy of ±1°C. The new Ecoheat-series is developed by R&D on back of over 6000 installations and 30 years of experience in process heat industry. Rapid continuous circulation of cooking oil delivers superior heat transfer, low film temperature and keeps tubing free of particulate accumulation. Low oil volume promotes fast turnover and a low free fatty acid level. Compact vertical design requires about one quarter the floor space of comparable horizontal heat exchangers. Specially designed high turndown ratio burner modulates automatically to maintain a constant oil temperature under constantly changing load conditions. Approved by the USFDA for all snacks, potato chips, meat, poultry and seafood frying applications, Ecoheat is designed for specific requirements of food processing industry for continuous fryer. Ecoheat is available for firing fuels like HSD, LDO, FO, NG and LPG and with efficiency of 90 ±2% on NCV. Ecoheat systems can be custom-build for rapid, uniform external heating of variety of oils and liquids.
