A centralised lubrication controller is best when it is automated as it eliminates worker error, down time and fatigue. For making an automatic lubrication system, an electronic controller is required; the electronic controller will have a cyclic timer which controls the pump’s cyclic on or off requirement (which can be time based or an operation based). The electronic controller will signal for any fault, be it low level of the lubricant in the container, a blocked line, or pressure drop in the system.
