Nihon Denkei India Private Limited offers a Digital Dust Monitor, Model 3443. This is a compact and lightweight unit capable of measuring dust particles, size range from 0.1 to 10 um, with a measuring range from 0.001 to 10 mg/m and accuracy of 10% FS. The measuring method is via light scattering and a semiconductor laser diode is used as the light source and a photodiode is the main detector system. The flow rate range is 1 ltr/min. The display is an LCD one with a back display. Data logging up to 100,000 measurements is possible with analog, pulse and an alarm output. Data transfer is feasible via USB interface. Useful tripod mount, rubber protector and shoulder strap included makes it very convenient for easy operation. Applications are many, for indoor air quality investigation, industrial hygiene quality control, occupational health control and particulate matter study.
