Vishal Electromag Industries offers DC Stepper Motors. It is hybrid type two-phase or four phase uni polar or bipolar motor, which convert electronic signals into mechanical motion. Its shaft rotates at 200 steps/ rev in full step mode or 400 steps/ rev in half step mode and can be driven in either direction. It offers many advantages as an actuator in a digitally controlled positioning system. It can be easily interfaced with a microcomputer or microprocessor to provide opening, closing, rotating, reversing, cycling and highly accurate positioning in a variety of applications. Mechanical components such as gears, clutches, brake and belts are not needed since stepping is accomplished electrically. It applies holding torque at standstill to help prevent unwanted motion, due to detent torque. Its rugged construction results in long life and eliminates the need for regular maintenance. It is available in a NEMA frame sizes 2.3" (dia 58 mm), 3.4" (86 mm), and 4.2" (108 mm), with full step angle 1.8° and half step angle 0.9° and step accuracy of ±5% non- cumulative. It is available in voltages 5, 6, 12 or 24 V DC. It is available with holding torque from 2 to 60 kg.cm.
