Kimo Industrie-Elektronik GmbH offers DC Converter for DC drives, Model GISIDIG.

The Construction of the GISIDIG converters is based on fully controlled thyristor- bridges for 2- or 4- quadrant operation. The Power thyristors are insulated and mounted on a common heat sink. The electronic modules are mounted on a two-layer swivel board superior to the power thyristors. They are connected with ribbon cables. This construction enables free access to all components. The protective circuit breakers, the thyristor control and optionally the field controller are located on the thyristor module layer. The standard version is equipped with an EPROM. The stored closed-loop control structure can be put into operation by easy parameter setting.
