Conducting fleece tape is used for corona protection in the slots of high voltage electrical machine. It is made of random oriented polyester fleece impregnated with heat resistant conducting varnish. It is suitable for both resin rich and resin poor system. It is highly durable, and resistant to most of the organic and inorganic solvents, and can be combined with synthetic resin. When tape is immersed in VPI system, the particles of the tape do not migrate to the epoxy resin bath. The tape is available in sizes ranging from 15mm, 20mm, 25mm (in width), and in roll length of 50mtrs.
