Combicreel

Combicreel

Side creels are a valuable means of rationalisation of the entire circular knitting plant, in particular of multi-feed and high speed machines. They ensure maximum efficiency due to a considerable saving on machine downtime for package loading. Other advantages are: the machines are relieved of the weight of the bobbin tackle and the increasing weight of the yarn packages; the yarn packages can be exchanged whilst the machine is running; the yarn packages are more easily accessible; the lint from the yarn packages cannot contaminate the knitting elements, thus reducing machine stops and downgraded fabric production. Verfical packages allow lint to settle on their tops. This problem is eliminated with side creels as the packages are more horizontally mounted. The Combicreel is the result of many years of manufacturing side creels. Compared to traditional creels it has a number of advantages, such as: the creel sections can be combined in a variety of positions; simple plug connections allow quick and easy assembly; by using tubes for the construction, the deposit of lint is reduced to a minimum. Depending on the number of knitting feeds and the size of the yarn packages, the Combicreel is available: as individual section or in groups of several sections; with Combicreelsections; for 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 running ends with reserve position; in the versions A, B, or D; for positioning around the machine or in line on 2, 3 or 4 sides.
