The inner conductor consists of plain/ tinned/silver plated or copper clad steel conductor and insulated with solid polythene/foamed polythene or PTFE. Then suitably shielded with bare/tinned/silver plated copper and sheathed with PVC/PTFE or synthetic rubber as per the governing specifications. These cables find use in radio frequency transmission and UHF applications. Standards applicable: MIL-C-17D.
