P M & Co offers proprietary multi-axes embedded microprocessor based controller to complement positioning systems like motorised linear stages, multi stages (X-Y, X-Y-Z or X-Y-Theta), rotary, gimbals, etc. The controller includes everything from drive modules to board level bus-based units and stand-alone units. Key features include ease of programming, mid range resonance suppression on stepping motor controls, linear interpolation. Standard controls include drives up to four stepper motors, RS-485 interface, RS-232 host communication and 8 I/Os with teach pendant interface and cursor keys for direction control. servo motor drives, analogue input-output modules, signal conditioning modules are offered as optional. The open architecture of the system lends for easy stacking/upgradability. These drives and controls are used in numerous applications countrywide and, when purchased with the company's precision positioning tables, provide a single-source solution.
