Mangalam offers 80-85 % Wear Resistant Alumina Ceramic Plates of 50 x 50 mm in 15 or 20 or 25 mm thickness. The specific gravity is 3.2 & hardness 8 on Moh's scale. Other sizes & thickness are also available. These are used for lining of metal hopper, piping, ducting, bends through which abrasive nature material like coal, ash, hard minerals, slurry are being transferred. The transfer process eats away the metal and hence ceramic lining helps protect the life.
