CENTRELESS GRINDER

Swastik Mechanic Works manufactures Centreless Grinding Machine, Model AP 100. It is used for grinding cylindrical parts to a high degree of precision. Straight parts and parts with shoulders, tapered parts and parts of various shapes can be ground. By using suitable grades of grinding wheels, the grinding machine can grind steel, hardened and unhardened brass, copper, aluminium or any other metal. The bed of the machine is a box-shaped seasoned casting while the grinding wheel spindle is made of hardened and ground alloy steel. The regulating wheel head travels on a moveable dovetailed scraped slide and can be titled from 0° to 3° to obtain different feed rates for work piece. Regulating wheel spindle is made of hardened and ground alloy steel. Accessories: wheel balancing stand, wheel balancing arbor, additional wheel flange (emery wheel), additional wheel flange (regulating wheel) and special work rest blades. Brief specifications: max dia of job - 100 mm; min dia of job - 3 mm; and max width of job for plunge grinding - 100 mm.
