The Centralized Ripening System, Model 307? consist of ethylene colourless gas with sweet odour, a naturally occurring plant hormone. It is one of the simplest compounds affecting physiological processes in plants. Effects can be initiated at internal concentrations of 0.1 to 1.0 ppm (parts per million) with the help of the ripening systems and refillable doping gas cylinder. Ethylene promotes ripening of apples, avocados, bananas, citrus (de-greening), dates, mangos, some melons, papayas, pears, persimmons, pineapples, and tomatoes. Ethylene is blended with air to a concentration of 150 ppm in the ripening room. The advanced control system monitors and controls ethylene and carbon di-oxide online in 1 up to 4 cold rooms. It comes in a standard 19? rack mountable chassis. The sensor control range is: 0.1 to 200 ppm ethylene and 0.01 to 10% carbon di-oxide. It is fully automated control system with one touch key control. Especially economically priced for small-scale cold rooms it has analogue outputs and data logging available for all channels. The company also offers low cost refillable cans, which can be used by retailers/farmers for ripening fruits in a simple enclosed airtight rooms/freezers/plastic tents at ambient conditions.

Typical applications are ripening rooms, cold storage and warehouses, cold room containers (cold chain logistics).
