Bearing induction heaters are designed for mounting of bearings or any other ring shape part like pinion, bearing races, labyrinth, gears, couplings, etc., by expanding through induction heating and shrunk fit on the axles. These incorporate the latest micro-controller with memory backup and a unique feature is the recipe programming. The user can store different recipe programs for operating parameters like heating time and temperature for the frequently shrunk fitting jobs. The heater can operate in two different modes, i.e., temperature mode or time mode. This control gives digital readout of the bearing temperature in temperature mode or time mode, and shows heating time in countdown manner. Both temperature and timer readouts are simultaneously displayed. A built-in auto ramping cycle helps avoid current surges due to sudden switching of full power and the demagnetising unit solves the problems of attracting microscopic iron particles caused by residual magnetism. This cycle is automatically performed at the end of each heating cycle. Also an audio alarm after heating and demagnetising cycle is completely over with auto cut-off facility. The induction heater is equipped with height adjustable type bearing resting devices, which is capable to control the heating of bearings uniformly.
