Graphite & Carbon Corporation offers Balanced Seals. The balanced seals series are balanced type seals designed to handle higher pressure applications with the same versatility and reliability as GCC 201 type. To accommodate the series, a step must be provided on the shaft sleeve to permit a design technique of balancing off some of the hydraulic forces which tend to overload the seal faces.
