Bulkmov Engineering offers Airlifts. It conveys fine powdered material economically to a higher elevation and occupies less space. In principle, a high velocity low pressure air passing through a nozzle carries along with it the fluidized powder to a higher elevation, wherein in the Expansion chamber the material is separated and discharged. Construction and Assembly: Airlift vessel is of two cylindrical chambers made out of rolled and welded m.s plate. Top cover having inlet & outlet is bolted with flange joints. Air chamber fitted with silicon treated cloth is bolted at the bottom of the vessel. Non-return valve (rubber lined and rubber ball) with tee-joint is at the bottom of air chamber. Nozzle is at the bottom chamber. Material outlet pipe bottom is at a determined distance above the nozzle. This pipe passes out the top cover. The other end of material outlet pipe is flanged to bottom of the Expansion chamber with support frame at a higer level. Low pressure high velocity air from Roots Blower is connected to the tee joint at the bottom of airlift via gate valve. A by-pass Fludising pipe set from the roots blower connected to the side of air chamber of airlift via regulating valve agitates the powder in the bottom chamber. Aereation cloth also acts as an air-tight seal. All the flanged joints are provided with packing material. Thus the air coming out of nozzle carry the fluidised material along with it to expansion chamber wherein in the expansion chamber air and material are separted. Dust laden air is connected to the silo by ducting, and the material falling at the bottom of expansion chamber is carried forward.
