PE&EE offers Acrylbond, a waterproofing coating based on acrylic resins, in an aqueous medium. It is suitable for application to all porous or non-porous substrates such as koba, plaster walls, roofs, terraces and basements where water seepage is a problem. The advantages of acrylbond are effective blocking of porosity; excellent penetration into the substrate and bonding; absence of solvent odours; ease of application either by brush, roller or airless spray; non reversibility (meaning that once it dries, the resin cannot be re-emulsified or dissolved and becomes completely waterproof; flexibility to absorb thermal expansion and contraction; and compatibility with ordinary paint stainers to get any colour (original material is white). Ready coloured shades can also be supplied to suit customers' requirements. Acrylic resins are well known for their unusual resistance to deterioration outdoors due to LTV rays in sunlight and all other weathering conditions.
