Voltas Limited’s Mining & Construction Equipment Division (M&CE) has been serving the cause of mechanisation and modernisation for almost 50 years, serving as a vital value-adding link between manufacturers, suppliers and end-users. Over the decades, it has established a large and appreciative customer base in the mining and infrastructure industry. In conjunction with globally renowned manufacturers, M&CE offers its customers a comprehensive package of state-of-the-art equipment and value-added service support. The company offers an extensive range of equipment, viz., mining excavators from Caterpiller (erstwhile Bucyrus O&K Germany); dump trucks from Terex Equipments, UK; track mounted crushers, screens from Powerscreen (a Terex Company); crawler cranes from Kobelco Japan; rough terrain crane from Tadano; NFLG concrete mixing plants, tower cranes from SYM China; vibrating screens (banana, horizontal and high frequency) and dewatering centrifuges from Aury Australia and Aury Tianjin; and complete coal preparation plants from Dadi Engineering Group of China. The company has now extended its capabilities to provide MARC (Maintenance & Repair Contract) for LeTourneau Loaders, to a leading mining company in Mozambique. Today M&CE supports equipment in India through their nation-wide network of 16 sales and service offices and 5 warehouses, conveniently situated on job sites. The division offers a variety of value added services like annual service contracts, operations and maintenance contracts, annual maintenance contracts, comprehensive maintenance contracts, complete overhauls and refurbishing and training for operators and maintenance crew at job sites; and rental solutions for crushing and screening plants.
