Ascent Machineries & Engg. Services offer Timber Cooling Tower. The unique timber cross flow towers by use of Seagull Bars either in PVC or in steel, 'C' type drift eliminators, aerodynamic FRP fans, drives with or without gearboxes, all to give highest thermal efficiency. The use of Seagull Bars ensures film splash cooling both. This gives more capacity by 20-25% over the conventional fill design. It is made up of treated timber planks supported on grooved treated plywood eliminator frame in herringbone pattern. The selected quality pinewood as per IS 2372 treated with chromated cooper arsenate (ASCU Chemicals). The treated timber factory assembled packaged type induced draft cooling tower up to 100 TR capacities. These towers specially designed to deliver highly reliable operation under corrosive atmospheric condition. The fan is of axial flow type and is directly driven which saves from the perennial headache of V-Belts.
