Electro Polymers manufactures a wide range of polytetra fluoro ethylene (Teflon, and Hiflon, etc) products. These products find use in large number of industries such a chemical, engineering, railways, electronics, electrical, aviation, space, and defence, etc. PTFE is the most important and widely used engineering plastic today having special surface properties of the lowest friction and anti-adhesion, it operates over a temperature range of -270?C to +260?C and is resistant to almost all chemicals, except molten alkali metals, fluorine and chlorine trifluoride at elevated temperature and pressures. When compounded with reinforcing fillers its mechanical properties improve to give it greater creep resistance, lower thermal expansion and enhanced bearing properties. Filled PTFE has replaced other materials, particularly in the areas where temperature an environmental conditions are severe, PTFE is also non-flammable; non-toxic is resistant to radiation and has negligible water absorption properties. The products range includes rods/tubes, bushes, sheets, bellows gaskets, "O" rings, compressor rings, and ball valve seats, etc.
