Polytetrafluoroethlene (PTFE)

Pali Polymers offers Polytetrafluoroethlene (PTFE), a material resistant to virtually all chemicals, even at very high temperatures and pressures. It can be used at temperature ranging from approx 200 Degree C to +260 Degree C. It has excellent electric properties which remain constant independent of frequency and temperature. PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of all solid material. No health hazard: PTFE can be used safely up to temperatures of +260 Degree C (does not apply to all fillers). PTFE is anti-adhesive, i.e., other materials do not adhere to PTFE. Availability: strips, in sheets of different thickness, in tape form, back-up rings, bellows, piston rings, bushes, rods and as finished components to customers’ needs. Applications: in wide spectrum of industries, such as chemical industry, paper industry and mechanical industries.
