Log Staples Made Of Plastic

The LogSavers from the U-C Coatings Corporation are log staples made from recycled plastic instead of steel. They are inserted with a special hammer which prevents damage to the user's hands and fingers. The staples prevent end splits from becoming larger and destroying logs. As they are made of plastic, they can be sawn or sliced through without damage to saws or veneer slicers.
