FRP Epoxy Pultruded Profiles

Agni Fiber Boards manufactures a variety of non-asbestos FRP Epoxy Pultruded Profiles for electrical insulations that combine high strength and excellent electrical insulating characteristics. A blend of glass – unidirectional E-glass and ECR boron free roving, continuous strand mats and woven tapes – and epoxy resin, this can withstand temperature up to Class F (155°C). Profiles of higher temperature – Class H (200°C) can be manufactured using special resin system on requirement; and profiles with flame retardant characteristic can be produced by adding additives to the resin system. Unidirectional E-glass and epoxy resin system are used for section where high longitudinal strength is required. Woven tapes/CSM are used where high bi-directional strength is required. Epoxy profiles are used for high mechanical strength and where electrical withstand values are critical. Pultrusion products are: lasting performance, light weight and high strength, corrosion resistant, electro magnetic transparency, thermal insulation, low temperature capabilities, electrical insulation, machinability and dimensional stability. Applications are in: transformers, chocks, switchgear, on load tap changer insulation, motor slot wedges, coil spacers for induction furnaces lightning arrestors, telescopic operating and discharge rods, cable tray joints, etc.
