Syrma SGS has recently commenced construction of a new Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing facility in the Naidupeta Industrial Zone, Andhra Pradesh, as part of its broader capacity expansion strategy. Developed through its subsidiary, Syrma Strategic Electronics Pvt Ltd, the unit will produce a wide range of PCB technologies, including single-layer and multi-layer configurations, strengthening the company’s role in India’s evolving electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

The upcoming facility is expected to generate more than 1,000 direct employment opportunities, supporting skill development and contributing to Naidupeta’s emergence as a key industrial hub. To enhance technological capabilities, Syrma SGS has established a joint venture with South Korea-based Shinhyup Electronics (SH Electronics Ltd), combining global engineering expertise with India’s manufacturing strengths.

JS Gujral, Managing Director noted that the new unit underscores the company’s confidence in India’s potential to become a major centre for high-precision electronics. He added that advanced technology, skilled manpower, and strategic collaboration will drive the next phase of growth and reinforce the country’s electronics value chain.
