M&MT: The new business event centred on Motion and Mechatronics

M&MT is the new business event dedicated to motion, mechatronics, automation, embedded electronics, robotics and on all technologies related to Industry 4.0. It will take place from 4 to 6 October 2017 at the Exhibition Centre of fieramilano Rho.

Organised by Hannover Fairs International, EFIM-ENTE Fiere Italiane Macchine and Fieramilano, and promoted by AidAM, IMVG, ASSOFLUID and UCIMU, M&MT is much more than an exhibition. It is the first co-fair ever organised, a shared event where the focus will be on the exhibited technologies, but also on the present operators, who, since the first meeting, will be able to develop new projects and collaborations.

M&MT, which obtained the support of the “Politecnico di Milano”, one of the most committed universities with regard to the issue of Industry 4.0 and to the application of IoT to the manufacturing industry, is an event that is developing and improving, also together with its attending enterprises. For this reason, the exhibition established a Technical Scientific Committee that will contribute to providing the guidelines for the contents analysed in the side events, with the purpose of enhancing the value of this business event for all the operators taking part in the exhibition.

The President of the Technical-Scientific Committee is Marco Taisch, full professor of ‘Operations Management’ and of ‘Advanced and Sustainable Manufacturing’ at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of the “Politecnico di Milano” and at the “Manufacturing Group”.

M&MT will be a three-day event (from Wednesday to Friday), a full immersion in the world of high-tech applied to the industry. It will be an opportunity for reasoning on the development scenarios of the manufacturing industry, which is more and more looking at “smart systems”, capable of making a factory and its employees more efficient and safer.

The key players of M&MT will be manufacturers and distributors of systems, devices and equipment related to the following sectors: assembling, motion and handling; automation of electronic production; industrial robots; control of processes and machining; fieldbus and communication systems; plant design, components and accessories; oil-hydraulic and pneumatic industry; mechanical transmissions, electrical drives and industrial automation; software for automation and production; information technology for the industry; ICT; software and hardware for the development of systems and products (PLM); vision systems; sensors, detectors, transducers, measuring and control; testing and measuring instruments; services; maintenance; technical subcontracting.

M&MT is the business event focused on the technologies that will be more and more common in the factories of the future. It is an event created for engineers who design, assemble and build; for managers in charge of production, purchases, quality control and IT: here they will be able to see products with their own eyes.
