Modular product programme for optimum adjustment

Tecsis is specialised in the development of the perfect solutions for complex procedures and processes by combining high-quality sensor components, procedural competence and electronic intelligence. It makes no difference whether you speak about the test flight of the A 380 or a load measuring system in the highest safety area of nuclear power stations – precision and user benefits of Tecsis solutions are designed to increase the customer’s performance and competitiveness. This potential is also incorporated into its new product programme for anchor load measuring systems. It has been developed uncompromisingly for particular operating conditions.

Basic elements of the system

Hydraulic Ring Force Transducers: A cylinder-piston combination made of steel or stainless steel (option), filled with hydraulic medium is the basis of the anchor load measuring system. For the nominal size of NG 146, the force transducing area of the piston is 146 mm². The nominal load is designed for 0 to 1000 kN or 0 to 2000 kN (nominal displacement of the piston 0.5 mm). Up to Fnom = 1000 kN NG 146 is used, for higher values NG 383; nominal internal diameter of 90/105 mm for NG 146, 165 mm for NG 383. Both the mechanical and the electrical versions are available with either a directly mounted pressure sensor/pressure gauge or an external type.

For ensuring a maximum service quality and easy maintenance, Tecsis offers a connection solution that allows a loss less disconnection and replacement of the external pressure sensor/gauge under operating conditions.

Digital Measurand Indicator: By using the portable measurand indicator ViSens, it is possible to indicate all standard output signals 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V in a precise and absolutely reliable manner on site. The device automatically selects one of the 20 internally saved, adjustable calibration tables for the appropriately coded transducers. Via a plain text display, the comprehensive functions and indication units can be called and adjusted.

A mature system: More than just the sum of its parts

The graphic chart shows an example of a radio-type measuring system with four anchor load transducers. Depending on the local condition, it is possible to design single signal paths also in an alternative method. For this purpose, radio bridging-over accessory (cable set) is available that is also used to detect the signal paths at the data logger.

The saved measured values can be transmitted via USB or LAN interface to a PC or to control rooms and be monitored by means of the optionally available evaluation software.

By using internet technologies, e.g., VPN, the monitoring of the anchor load becomes absolutely independent of time and location.

Anchor load measuring kits for large-scale applications

Tecsis anchor load measuring kits are pre-configured hardware packages that comprise force transducers, transmission equipment (cable or radio), data logger, mounting case and accessories.

The standard packages consist of four or eight anchor load transducers and can be individually expanded according to the project task. The basic configurations are featured with an internal temperature monitoring unit and electrical heating for the housing and can be completed with enhanced accessories.

All parts and the total measuring kit are completely tested and calibrated at the factory so that they are immediately ready for use on the site.
