Allcargo Supply Chain launches a 2.75 lakh sq. ft. Panapakkam Logistics Park near Chennai, boosting southern presence with focus on auto, e-commerce, and consumer durables.

Allcargo Supply Chain, part of Allcargo Logistics, on September 11, 2025, announced the launch of its tech-enabled, state-of-the-art Logistics Park in Panapakkam, near Chennai. Covering 2.75 lakh sq. ft. of Grade-A warehousing space, the facility represents a major expansion of the company’s southern operations and reinforces its infrastructure-led growth strategy.
Situated at the junction of NH 76 and SH 50, the Panapakkam Logistics Park provides seamless connectivity to Red Hills, Chennai Port, Sri City, Sriperumbudur, and Oragadam, positioning it as a key multi-modal hub for pan-India distribution. The facility also strengthens Allcargo Supply Chain’s diversification in the southern region, with around 50 per cent focus on automobile, complemented by e-commerce and consumer durables.
Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director, Allcargo Supply Chain Private Limited, said, “The launch of our Panapakkam Logistics Park is a significant milestone in expanding our southern footprint and increasing customer capacity. Built to global standards, it is designed to handle large cargo volumes with speed and efficiency. By integrating advanced infrastructure with sustainable practices, we are creating a future-ready hub that delivers value to businesses and contributes to India’s supply chain ecosystem.”
The facility is designed to global standards as a ready-to-operate site, offering scalability for both raw material storage and finished goods distribution. It features 32 docks with 16 dock levellers, a centre height supporting G+8 racking for storage efficiency, and a 5,000 sq. ft. mezzanine floor with client office space. With throughput capacity of nearly 60,000 tonnes per month, the park is also expected to generate employment for 400 contractual workers, of whom nearly 95 per cent will be blue-collar employees from the region.
Sustainability and safety are central to the park’s design. It includes a solar-ready rooftop (10 KW/100K sq. ft.), LED lighting, solar-powered streetlights, rainwater harvesting, STP water recycling, and stormwater drains designed using 80 years of rainfall data. Security is reinforced by a perimeter wall, dock levellers, fire hydrants, and sprinkler systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
With this launch, Allcargo Supply Chain expands its southern presence, complementing existing facilities in Bengaluru and the upcoming Hyderabad site, while also enhancing its nationwide footprint of modern, automated, and sustainable logistics parks in Farukhnagar (Gurugram), Nagpur, Guwahati, Bhiwandi (Mumbai), Indore, and Vijayawada.
