Shivam Electronics represents several global manufacturers. What are the products that you offer?

We are into imports and distribution of industrial automation products of reputed global brands like TAIE, Fotek, Qwinwell, Optex, Karlo and Samyoung Unitech, among others. We import these products from these principals based in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China. The products are PID controllers, digital temperature controllers/indicators, digital panel meters, digital timers/counters, inductive/capacitive proximity sensors, analog sensors, photo electric sensors, humidity sensors/controllers, digital calibrators, light curtains, switch mode power supplies, solid state relays, thyristor controls, recorders, AC drives, non-contact temperature indicators/sensors, converters (USB to RS232/422/485/TTL), MI-thermocouples, compensating cables, etc. These are products used in all manufacturing industries.

What are the synergies between the different product lines?

We offer best quality products, low pricing, warranty for products, besides ensuring easy availability and excellent after sales service for all products purchased from us. This is the main reason that our customers are completely satisfied with us for the last 10-15 years.

Any breakthrough product launch that made a difference?

We have recently introduced a range of low cost of sensors, which is available in AC and DC voltage having relay, PNP/NPN output with NO/NC. Also in low cost, with all features, PID controllers introduced by our principal TAIE in all sizes with RS-485 communications which is the need in this computer technology world. These controllers also come with 3 years warranty.

How is the present business environment?

Currently it is good time and now with positive vibes from the government we can expect it to continue in upward direction as the infrastructure sector is booming in India. Both India and Taiwan are great potential markets because of their respective rapid and aggressive urbanisation. The industrial automation sector has a very promising future in these two nations.

What are the future plans?

Our future plan is to introduce a new technology based digital power regulator, which is manufactured by Fotek (Taiwan). It is available in single phase and 3 phase versions, rating 35 A to 200 A.
