Global Industrie will once again transform into the largest
factory in France for four days, bringing together the innovations shaping the
future of industry. The exhibition reflects a wider context of
reindustrialisation, industrial sovereignty and sustainability challenges, and
will feature 2,300 exhibitors and more than 3,000 machines operating live.
A key highlight of the event is the GI Awards, which
recognise outstanding industrial innovations. In 2026, a total of 21
innovations were shortlisted from nearly one hundred applications. Following
the Grand Oral held on Tuesday, March 3rd, the jury—comprising industry
professionals and journalists—selected four industrial solutions across four
categories: Responsible Industry, Digital Innovation, Industrial Performance
& Efficiency, and Technological Transformation.
In addition, a special ‘Startup’ Award, dedicated to an
industrial startup, and the Jury’s Favourite Award were also presented.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, April 1st,
2026, on the exhibition’s Grande Scène.
The GI Awards 2026 highlight several key innovation trends
within the industrial sector. One major focus is the democratisation of
advanced industrial technologies to strengthen business competitiveness. A
number of solutions presented this year aim to make tools that were once
complex or costly accessible to a wider range of industrial companies. Forx has
developed an autonomous mobile robot capable of detecting pallets using
artificial intelligence. The system can be deployed without specific infrastructure
and is offered through a rental model. Fuzzy Logic Robotics has introduced
WeldMate, which simplifies welding automation through a no-code interface
operated from a tablet, enabling operators to programme a robot within minutes.
Meanwhile, Misutech enables manufacturers to anticipate machining defects
through digital simulation, helping secure production decisions and reduce
scrap.
Another major trend reflected in the awards is the growing
emphasis on people, safety and working conditions within industrial
transformation. Several innovations aim to improve workplace safety and
ergonomics. Safehear enhances communication in noisy environments through a
system capable of filtering background noise while clearly transmitting the
human voice. Labadis improves the handling of heavy parts through a compact
lifting system that reduces physical strain and enhances workstation
ergonomics. Seabery’s augmented reality paint simulator also enables operators
to train more efficiently while lowering the risks and costs associated with
learning.
Through these innovations, the award winners represent an
industry that combines technology, performance and progress while supporting
the people who drive it forward.
Global Industrie is recognised as the largest industrial
gathering in France and ranks among Europe’s top three industrial events. Each
year, it brings together more than 60,000 industry professionals, 2,300
exhibiting companies, 750 speakers and thousands of machines operating live,
making it a major platform for innovation, technology and industrial expertise.
As a cornerstone of France’s industrial ecosystem, the event
highlights regional capabilities, skills and know-how while emphasising the
vital role industry plays in everyday life. It also serves as a strategic
meeting point where industry leaders share perspectives and where solutions for
the future of French industry are shaped.
Global Industrie introduces four new dedicated zones to accelerate innovation, digitalisation and logistics, bringing together 2,300 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors.
