Bharat Forge and Agile Robots sign MoU to Advance AI-Led Industrial Automation

The MoU brings together Bharat Forge’s manufacturing expertise and Germany-based Agile Robots’ AI-led robotics capabilities to accelerate intelligent automation across key civilian industrial sectors.

Bharat Forge and Germany-based Agile Robots S.E. have agreed to explore a strategic collaboration to jointly advance AI-driven robotics and intelligent industrial automation. Leveraging Bharat Forge’s extensive domain expertise and Agile Robots’ advanced intelligent robotics and automation solutions, the collaboration aims to deploy cutting-edge technologies for the automotive, healthcare and consumer electronics industries. The Indo-German partnership is focused exclusively on civilian industry and manufacturing.
To this effect, both companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to:
(i) co-develop, establish capabilities and offer bespoke solutions in manufacturing, industrial CPG and logistics, including existing Agile Robots solutions for the India and South-East Asia markets; and
(ii) develop and deploy state-of-the-art vision- and AI-based robotic solutions as a strategic partnership to enable fully autonomous (‘dark’) factories.
Commenting on the collaboration, Amit Kalyani, Vice Chairman and Joint Managing Director, Bharat Forge Limited, said, “This strategic Collaboration with Agile Robots is a reinforcement of Bharat Forge’s ambition to provide state-of-the-art intelligent robotic and automation solutions across multiple industries while driving manufacturing efficiencies at home.
