ABB India launches ArTu Formula LV switchgear for safer power distribution

ABB India has launched ArTu Formula, a new low voltage (LV) switchgear solution designed to deliver enhanced safety, reliability and performance across industrial sectors, critical infrastructure, and commercial and residential buildings.

Part of ABB’s India Electrification portfolio, ArTu Formula is fully compliant with international standards IEC 61439-1 & 2 and IEC 61641, ensuring high levels of operational safety and system reliability. The solution has been developed to address the country’s evolving power distribution requirements while supporting technological advancement under the Make in India initiative.

The modular system balances simplicity with versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including power distribution, motor control centres and sub-distribution boards.

“ArTu Formula represents a significant advancement in low voltage switchgear technology,” said Kiran Dutt, President – Electrification, ABB India. “Seamlessly integrating with our advanced product portfolio, it demonstrates our ongoing commitment in supporting India's infrastructure development and industrial growth.”

ArTu Formula complements ABB’s wider switchgear and electrification ecosystem, including Formula Air Circuit Breakers and Moulded Case Circuit Breakers, motor starting solutions, switches and disconnectors, and digital offerings such as Lite Panel Pro. This compatibility enables simplified integration, easier maintenance and improved monitoring and control for customers.
