Which are the key industries that Anritsu cater to?

Anritsu is world leader in telecom test and measurement instrument. These instruments are used for various telecom technologies and other applications. We cater defence, aerospace, satellite, broadcast, education, research, automobile electronics, mobile hand set in addition to telecom industry. Anritsu instruments are industry standard for R&D, production, network maintenance and optimisation testing.

How has been the demand for your products in India?

Anritsu products are in demand from various sectors like telecom, education, research, handset R&D and production in addition to defence-space communication.

What are the factors that are driving the market of measuring instrument?

India has emerged as growing electronics consumption market this includes consumer electronics and mobile hand set as well. New telecom technologies, defence communication network upgrade and educational market is growing and need various test and measurement instrument.

What are the emerging trends in measuring instrument industry (globally and in India)?

Telecom industry is evolving to new standards like advanced LTE and 5G. Better spectrum utilisation technique is being applied to cater higher data demand and better customer experience. Smartphones have changed like anything to suits customers’ expectations. Stay connected all time everywhere is new trend.

  Internet of Things (IoT) will change industrial sector scene in next 4-5 years. More and more automation will be inside all manufacturing sector. Smart Cities is other new trend. India already has good plan for smart cities.

Automotive electronics is also shaping to new trends, cars have more electronics inside now as compare to few year back.

How is measuring instruments industry leveraging on digitalisation?

Digitisation is new area where significant growth is seen. Any technology evolution need test and measurement tool for research and development and then production testing. Commercial launch of all electronics products are well tested to give acceptable customer experience. This is possible with right T&M only.

How do you cater to testing & measuring requirements in automotive industry in India?

Anritsu offers a wide range of test and measurement solution for automotive sector. It offers solutions for wireless connective test; safety, navigation & driver aid testing; in-vehicle network testing; intelligent transport systems (ITS) testing; and electromagnetic testing. Some of the examples are given below.

Anritsu signaling tester MD8475A/B has been used to develop e-call (emergency call) system. Universal wireless test set MT8870A is other right choice of many engineers for automotive connectivity testing. Anritsu spectrum analyser (MS2712/13E) is used for EMI/EMC testing of various electronics used in automotive industry. Anritsu VNA is used for automotive cable electrical/electronic parameter analysis. 

What are the growth plans for your company in India?

Anritsu India is investing in Indian operation and has been increasing resources. We have expanded our offices in Noida and Hyderabad. We recruited more after sales staff to meet post sales requirement. We have updated our service lab to NABL accreditation and ISO as well.

 In order to reach customer, we have appointed regional channel partners. Anritsu India also has its own R&D team for mobile testing customer. This team support local and global customers.
