Winner Inter Plas Co. Ltd. Thailand, Asia's largest company in plastic pallets, has tied up with Indian company Winner Technoplast Private Limited, and appointed Ajay Jhalani as the Managing Director for Indian operations.

Ajay Jhalani has worked with CHEP, a Brambles company, as the Indian Business Head for 10 years. Prior to CHEP, he was the Vice President for Supreme Industries Ltd. India, where he had set up the plastic pallet business. He worked for Bright brothers for almost 10 years, and also worked for companies like Time Technoplast and Tuff Ropes Ltd., an RIL subsidiary. He brings to the table 25 years of sales and marketing experience.

Indian plastic pallet market is around 400 crores and growing at 20 per cent. The WTPl vision is to capture 20 per cent of Indian market by 2022. The expected revenue is Rs 75 crores by 2022.
