Welspun's Sintex invests Rs 350 cr in Telangana, creating 1,000 jobs

Sintex, a subsidiary of the Welspun Group, has announced plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Telangana, investing Rs 350 crore and generating 1,000 job opportunities.

The foundation stone for the new plant, situated in Chandanvelly, Rangareddy district, was laid by Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao and Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka on September 28. The facility will specialise in the production of tanks, pipes, auto components, and related accessories, as per an official statement.

Rama Rao expressed confidence in Telangana's 'progressive' policies and 'world-class' infrastructure, which have motivated companies like Sintex to establish their ventures in the state. He reiterated the government's commitment to offering comprehensive support to existing companies seeking to expand their presence within Telangana.

Welspun Group Chairman BK Goenka praised the state's investment-friendly policies, stating that their successful operations in Telangana had encouraged them to further expand their footprint in the region.
