Waaree Solar Americas Inc., the US subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer, has signed a significant 599 MW solar module supply agreement with a leading US-based independent power producer. This key agreement underscores Waaree’s expanding presence and reliability in the fast-growing American solar market. The modules will be produced at Waaree’s modern manufacturing plant in Brookshire, Texas, with deliveries scheduled for the 2026 calendar year.

With over 1.2 GW in new orders secured during Q1 of FY25–26, Waaree continues to gain commercial traction in the United States, driven by growing demand from AI-powered data centre growth, infrastructure modernisation, and industrial electrification.

To accommodate this increasing demand, Waaree Energies Limited is establishing an additional 1.6 GW solar module production unit at its Brookshire location, taking its total US manufacturing capacity to 3.2 GW by the end of 2025. This major expansion reinforces Waaree’s commitment to strengthening American solar manufacturing and enhances its ability to supply utility-scale and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects with greater speed, reliability, and domestic value addition.
