Waaree Energies to secures contract for 900 MW modules for solar power plant

Waaree Energies announced the securing a contract from Serentica Renewables India to supply 900 megawatts (MW) of modules for a solar project in Fatehgarh, Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan.

This project will be one of India's largest solar power plants utilising Waaree modules, marking a significant milestone for both companies.

The delivery of these Top-Con bifacial modules is scheduled from August 2024 to February 2025.

Waaree Energies will manage the entire process of manufacturing, testing, packing, and transporting the solar PV modules, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Sunil Rathi, Director- Sales, Waaree Energies Ltd., stated, "Our elite series modules are expected to enhance the efficiency, durability, and performance of this project. We have been actively deploying multiple projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat, supporting the clean energy shift in these states."

Waaree Energies, with an aggregate installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2023, commenced operations in 2007, focusing on solar PV module manufacturing. The company has four manufacturing facilities in India and a global presence.
