UP CM to flag off 100 eBuses of PMI Electro Mobility ahead of Ram Mandir consecration

Ahead of the auspicious occasion of consecration of Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhyadham is going to have over 100 electric buses (e-Buses) of PMI Electro Mobility plying within the city limits of the holy city. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath Ji is scheduled to flag off these e- Buses as a part of zero-carbon public mobility initiative on January 14, 2024 from Ayodhyadham Bus Stand.

These eBuses shall be facilitating visiting dignitaries, pilgrims and local citizens with sustainable and comfortable mode of public transport complementing the green transport mission at Ayodhya and keep the city free of air pollution. As a beacon of Make-in-India initiative, PMI Electro Mobility India’s leading eBus manufacturer has the largest eBus fleet in the state.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Aanchal Jain, CEO, PMI Electro Mobility Solutions said, “We are truly blessed that our e-buses will commence operations just before the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir. It is indeed a moment of great pride for PMI Electro Mobility to have our eBuses all set to ply in the holy city of Ayodhya and be a part of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi Ji’s vision to be a net-zero nation by 2070. We are grateful to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Sh. Yogi Adityanath Ji for giving us an opportunity to support the green public mobility operations in the state. Our eBuses have proven the capabilities across the length and breadth of our nation contributing to improvement is nation’s sustainability quotient.”

PMI Electro Mobility has 700 e-Buses running across Uttar Pradesh which shall be reducing carbon footprint by and will see a cut of 11036 tons Saved Fuel 1,62,06,750 litres/Rs 146 crore diesel expenditure. 

“We look forward to fortify the state’s ambitious goals of electrifying the public transport by delivering additional e-buses in all major cities in the state in times to come.” added Dr Jain.
The introduction of e-Buses in the city is part of a transformative adopting a green push of zero carbon mobility in the city of Ayodhya.
