The Alternative Board launches unique business coaching in Chennai

The Alternative Board (TAB), a renowned leader in the field of business coaching, is introducing its distinctive peer board advisory approach along with proven strategic tools to assist small and medium-sized business owners in Chennai.

TAB, the preeminent coaching organization for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worldwide, is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, United States. With a presence in 24 countries, serving over 1,100 industries, and impacting the lives of more than 25,000 business owners, TAB has forged a remarkable legacy over its three-decade existence. Throughout this time, TAB has nurtured a thriving community of forward-thinking business proprietors who pool their collective wisdom to enhance their businesses and transform lives.

Ramas Krishnan, the managing partner of TAB India, elaborated, "Our journey with TAB India commenced in Mumbai, followed by our second franchise establishment in Pondicherry. Concurrently with the launch of our Chennai franchise, we are diligently working on establishing a TAB franchise in Rajkot. Our current blueprint envisions the creation of approximately five thriving franchises."

The essence of TAB's approach lies in its Advisory Boards, composed of tightly-knit, seasoned entrepreneurs representing diverse industries who offer mutual counsel. This board, comprised of eight accomplished business proprietors, provides a trusted community of experienced peers who have encountered similar business challenges. TAB meticulously follows a structured selection process, uniting non-competing, equally-sized, and like-minded business owners to form these advisory boards.

TAB's footprint in India began in 2018 and has since expanded to encompass 78 members nationwide. It has collaborated with over 125 Indian companies, spanning manufacturing, construction, professional services, and real estate sectors.

"We firmly believe that SME business owners in Chennai can elevate their enterprises to new heights by harnessing the power of peer board advisory and one-on-one coaching. TAB members have no vested interests in each other's businesses, ensuring impartial and objective feedback. The board members' mutual accountability forms the bedrock of TAB's successful approach, delivering collective wisdom that translates into tangible bottom-line results," Ramas emphasised.

TAB India aims to establish advisory boards tailored to companies across three size categories: those with a turnover of up to Rs 25 crore, between Rs 25 crore and Rs 150 crore, and between Rs 150 crore and Rs 300 crore.

VG Somasekhar, a business owner affiliated with TAB Chennai, expressed enthusiasm, saying, "We are delighted to introduce The Alternative Board in Chennai, a bustling hub for some of the most innovative industries and industrialists, all within the dynamic and business-friendly ecosystem that Tamil Nadu offers. Business owners can unlock their vision's full potential through TAB's globally validated business coaching model. While traditional consulting tends to focus solely on the business, TAB centers its attention on the business owner."
