Tembo Global Industries Limited (NSE: TEMBO), an engineering solutions provider, has commissioned its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Vasai, Maharashtra, strengthening its manufacturing capabilities. The new plant increases the Company’s annual production capacity from 18,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) to 1,00,000 MTPA, creating a platform for future growth across its engineering and infrastructure businesses.

Built with an investment of Rs 0.75 billion, the 120,000 sq ft integrated facility is designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, support product innovation and improve supply chain capabilities. Strategically located in Vasai, the facility enables seamless connectivity for raw material sourcing and finished goods distribution, supporting faster deliveries, improved operational efficiencies and enhanced cost competitiveness.

The facility also houses an advanced in-house Research & Development (R&D) Centre, reinforcing Tembo’s focus on innovation and continuous product development across its expanding portfolio. The R&D capabilities are expected to support the Company’s efforts in developing high-quality engineering solutions aligned with evolving customer requirements.

With a team of over 100 engineering professionals, Tembo continues to strengthen its presence in high-growth and high-margin segments, including ERW Pipes and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects. The Company’s focus on forward and backward integration has contributed to improved operational efficiencies, lower manufacturing costs and enhanced profitability. The expanded manufacturing infrastructure is expected to further accelerate these benefits while supporting long-term business growth.
