Tata Motors to launch Curvv EV with in-built Charge Point Aggregator on August 7

Tata Motors will unveil its new Curvv EV in India on August 7, 2024. This budget-friendly coupe SUV will also offer internal combustion engine (ICE) variants. In addition to the Curvv, Tata Motors will introduce a Charge Point Aggregator platform integrated into their Connected Car app. This feature will provide real-time updates from over 15 charging providers, enhancing the convenience and reliability of EV charging.
The Curvv EV, anticipated to be a game-changer in the budget-friendly segment, marks Tata Motors' entry into a new category of affordable electric vehicles. Alongside the EV, the Curvv will be available with traditional ICE options, catering to a broader audience.

The new Charge Point Aggregator, part of Tata Motors' Connected Car app, aims to streamline the EV charging experience. It offers real-time information on charging station availability from over 15 providers across the country, helping users find and navigate to the nearest chargers. The app also features a rating system for Tata EV owners to review and rate charge points, further improving the user experience.
Currently, Tata Motors is a prominent player in the Indian EV market with models like the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tigor EV, and Tiago EV. The lineup will expand with the addition of the Curvv and the upcoming Harrier EV, expected to launch next year.

The Charge Point Aggregator provides comprehensive support for EV users by offering live updates on charger status, seamless navigation to charging stations, and data to help plan trips based on vehicle range and charger availability. The integration with Tata EV data and the rating system aims to enhance the overall charging experience, making it more user-friendly and efficient.
