Take That: Singing on Atos proportionals

The hydraulically powered Robot "OM" is the central attraction on the stage of the recent worldwide tour of the leading Pop Group "Take That".

The giant Robot progressively moves-up from laying to standing position, with a number of synchronised motions of arms, legs and body; the involved soft movements are actuated by Atos digital electrohydraulics, consisting of pressure compensated axial piston pumps, servoproportional valves and low friction servo cylinders with magnetosonic transducers.

Atos proportionals have on board digital electronics, which integrates the axes card and the valve's driver functions, thus improving the motion performances and simplifying the machine automation.

These advanced devices can be easily programmed by PC or by fieldbus, using the Atos unique software with its intuitive graphic interface.

A great example of sophisticated and reliable motion control!
