Taiwan to permit 1,000 Indian workers for manufacturing sector

Following discussions between Taiwanese and Indian officials in Taipei, Taiwan will permit an initial 1,000 Indian workers to enter the country for employment in traditional manufacturing industries, according to a statement from Taiwan's Ministry of Labour. This policy will initially focus on manufacturing, with officials set to meet online every two months to assess potential adjustments to the worker cap and the inclusion of additional industries.
