Sunkind India announces 19.9 MWp solar orders

Sunkind India, a prominent leader in the solar energy sector, proudly announces the acquisition of substantial further orders from its esteemed clients, totalling 19.9 MWp. These significant contracts, awarded by the Nahar Group and Jindal Group, will further solidify Sunkind India's standing as a top-tier EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company in the industry. The company's unflinching commitment to delivering high-quality solar solutions within set timelines has enabled its expansion into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, marking a pivotal milestone in its growth journey.

Building on the success of its previous installation projects, Sunkind India has been awarded a contract for a third solar power site by Nahar Group in Ludhiana. This project brings the total capacity installed for Nahar Group to an impressive 7.3 MWp. The outstanding performance and substantial energy generation of solar solutions at Nahar's earlier sites have resulted in considerable reductions in their energy bills, demonstrating the tangible benefits of Sun kind’s technology and services.

Hanish Gupta, Founder & CEO, Sunkind India said: “We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of quality and commitment in all our endeavours. Our consistent delivery of projects on time or ahead of schedule, along with our technological advancements, sets us apart from competitors. These achievements are not just milestones but stepping stones towards our goal of becoming the top EPC provider in the energy sector within a few years. We take pride in our role as a key contributor to the sustainable energy landscape of India and look forward to continuing our journey towards excellence and leadership in the industry.”

Sunkind India’s consistent excellence has led to another significant order from the Jindal Group. Located in Nashik, Maharashtra, this new project will increase the total capacity installed for Jindal Group to 12.6 MWp. The successful completion of previous projects has reinforced Sunkind’s reputation as a reliable partner in the renewable energy sector.

The trend of industrialists in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities opting for solar integration is on the rise, driven by the promise of better ROI and enhanced opportunities in the export market. Sunkind India is at the forefront of this movement, providing solutions that not only meet but exceed the expectations of its clients, paving the way for sustainable and profitable growth in these regions.

The company has established a strong presence across Central and Northern India and is now extending its reach to the Western part of India. Marked by the successful execution of its second industrial project in Maharashtra under the Capex Model, Sunkind's significant footprint in Madhya Pradesh, coupled with its expanding operations in Maharashtra, underscores its commitment to delivering top-quality solar solutions and achieving excellence in every project.

Solar energy, a sustainable power source, is instrumental in the global effort to reduce carbon emissions and tackle the climate crisis. By harnessing the sun's rays, the solar system can generate clean electricity without the harmful byproducts associated with fossil fuels. This move towards solar power is essential for protecting not only human populations but also the diverse array of plant and animal species that inhabit our planet. Industry experts, policy makers, environmentalists, and scientists are of the firm opinion that solar energy enhances air quality, minimizes water consumption in energy production, and offers ecosystem services to host communities.

Under the stewardship of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Budget for the fiscal year 2024-2025 outlines an ambitious blueprint that emphasizes renewable energy and cutting-edge technology, reflecting a comprehensive strategy aimed at securing a sustainable future for all. The government’s focus on energy security aims to build a solid foundation for a developed India by 2047. Significant measures include the expansion of exemptions for capital goods used in domestic solar cell and panel manufacturing, supporting the goal of achieving 280 GW of solar power by 2030.

The move to bolster the solar power sector by expanding the exemption list for capital goods used in manufacturing solar cells and panels is a continuing testament to India’s commitment to harnessing its abundant solar potential. In this course, Sunkind India is poised to be a proud part of making a resilient and self-sustaining energy ecosystem to fortify national energy security while contributing to economic growth.
