STAHL CraneSystems India, a Sales partner subsidiary of STAHL CraneSystems GmbH, Germany, has launched its latest, new generation SC Series chain hoist in India. The launch programme comprised of customer meets at four locations across the country: Coimbatore, Chennai, New Delhi and Pune. Present on the occasion were two leading Sales Partners of STAHL CraneSystems in India, viz., MM Engineers Private Limited, Coimbatore and Sparkline Equipments (P) Ltd, Pune, represented by the respective managing directors Mr Mounasamy Durairajan and Mr Shital Doshi. Mr Thomas Kraus, Support Centre Director, STAHL CraneSystems, Germany, introduced the new products while Mr Gerrit Buck, Product Manager, explained the features and capabilities. Also present on the occasion were a large number of customers from the automotive and other industries in and around Chennai.

The SC chain hoist series boasts one of the most up-to-date designs available - compact, high performance and maintenance friendly. The main characteristics include:

• Wide range of hoisting speeds
• Reliable clutch, not in the power flux during braking
• Compact constriction, ideal for customized solutions
• Lifetime lubrication with synthetic blend oil
• Pre-equipped for using sensors
• Control fully plugged in, pre-equipped for operational data recording in industrial use; and
• Patented chain sprocket reduces wear on chain.

The SC Series will be initially available in three models in capacity up to 2500 kg. The ST series will continue to offer other capacities before these are available in the new series. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Dayanidhi Anand, Country Head, STAHL CraneSystems, India, mentioned the role played by the two partner companies in India in the success of the company, as the interface between the customer and the manufacturer. STAHL CraneSystems does not directly deal with the customer, a role performed by the partners. However, it ensures total support to the customers in terms of engineering expertise and spare parts. STAHL CraneSystems has been around for over 130 years, since inception, in Germany, and has sales partner subsidiaries across the globe.
