Bengaluru is hosting IMTEX 2023 from January 19 and the show is running with full spirit. Schaeffler India Limited, a leading automotive and industrial supplier exhibited its flagship Lifetime Solutions product portfolio at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Showcasing its core competencies, the company’s products - linear guides, bearing solutions, and Schaeffler Ultra Precision Drives for the machine tools industry were on display at IMTEX 2023.

Schaeffler having a special target towards the machine tools and automation market comprehensively indulges in producing end-to-end product and service solutions that take care of the complete product lifecycle and localized production at their Quick Center reducing delivery lead time. Harsha Kadam, MD & CEO Schaeffler India and President of Industrial Business India said, “We are excited to showcase our flagship lifetime solutions and core products here at the largest machine tools show in India. We have been steadily working towards delivering higher value with reduced lead times with the establishment of our ‘Quick Center’ in Maneja plant while offering a comprehensive range of digital solutions.”

Schaeffler has an extensive and well-balanced product range. The company has been a world leader for decades with precision products in the bearing arrangements of rotary tables, feed spindles, main spindles, and linear axes.  A few bearing segment products at the display were,  ball screw bearings – ZKLF and ZKLN Series, X-life cylindrical roller bearings – N10 and NN30, axial radial bearings – YRTS, YRTC XL series, axial bearings with angle measuring system – YRTCMA/YRTSMA, YRTCMI, ZKLDFMI, X- life high-speed spindle bearings: VCM, and XZU axial angular contact needle roller bearing. The gears segment displayed products - precision strain wave gears of series RT, high precision gearboxes – PSC V/H-E, PSC V/H-B, PSD, SP243, SP244, SP191. Other than this wide range of lubricant products, inductive heating devices, smart lubricators, OPTIME solutions, and X-life linear recirculating ball bearing and guideway assembly were available at the exhibition.

The exhibitors explained that with digitalization at the core, cloud computing capability of Schaeffler OPTIME lifetime solutions enables faster data storage and analytics. On one hand, the OPTIME Cloud is connected to portable solutions plugged into the machines which gather real-time data. These physical entities are called OPTIME Gateway. The collected data is shipped on a real-time basis to the cloud that processes it into information and delivers it to the user through OPTIME user interfaces supported by a mobile application. Users get an expert view and ready dashboard and can also manage existing assets. “With our digital and product solutions, Schaeffler is helping to achieve higher productivity by improving the overall availability of machine tool products. The products displayed are a testament to our core focus on reliability and precision. We look forward to productive engagement with our customers and partners and together stride the next steps towards digitalization,” told Kadam.
