Samson Controls celebrates expansion in alignment with Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan

Samson Controls Pvt Ltd (SCPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samson AG, Frankfurt, is a major player in the industry with two manufacturing units in Ranjangaon, Pune, and a network of eight sales offices and three service centres across India.
In a significant ceremony held at their Ranjangaon factory premises, the German company Samson Controls celebrated the ground-breaking of their new facility. Samson Controls is a leading manufacturer of various valves, smart positioners, and AI-supported smart valves and systems.
The event was graced by Dr Dominic Deller, the CFO and Member of the Executive Board at Samson AG, Germany, and Atul Raje, the Managing Director of Samson India. Samson India is known for manufacturing cryogenic and specialty valves for LNG projects, with expertise spanning industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, steel, fertilisers, power plants, hydrogen, and various other process industry applications.
The Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, conceived by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to manage economic disruptions in India and foster self-reliance through an extensive economic stimulus package. This initiative encompasses a range of measures to strengthen India's self-sufficiency across sectors, including infrastructure and services.

Furthermore, the Samson Housing Project in Talegaon Dhamdere has provided top-tier housing options to employees, along with easy access to schools, hospitals, markets, and convenient transportation to the Ranjangaon factory. The company boasts a global annual turnover of 800 million euros. Dr Dominic Deller expressed enthusiasm about this expansion phase, stating, "This endeavour is pivotal in solidifying our market presence amidst surging demand. We have a unique opportunity to propel the future of our company in India and globally." Atul Raje, sharing his vision for the company's growth in India, affirmed, "We are highly motivated to contribute to India's self-reliance by investing in local talent.
