Global effect pigment manufacturer Eckart, based in Germany, has formed a joint venture with Runaya, an Indian leader in sustainable manufacturing with global technology alliances. The new partnership will establish a facility in Odisha focused on producing highly sustainable spherical atomised aluminium granules, which are experiencing growing demand both in India and international markets. These granules are used in high-end applications such as aerospace, solar panels, and premium effect pigments.

The strategic alliance emphasises sustainability, with the facility utilising recycled aluminium and renewable energy sources in its production process. The joint venture aims to serve both Indian and global markets, capitalising on India's reputation as a hub for cost-effective, advanced manufacturing solutions. Additionally, Runaya and Eckart have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to produce high-quality aluminium pigments.

Christian Przybyla, President, Eckart, praised Runaya's sustainable production methods, noting, "We aim to drive innovation and create long-term value for our customers by combining our expertise in the Indian market."

Naivedya Agarwal, Managing Director, Runaya, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, "This collaboration is transformative for the aluminium recycling industry and sets new global standards for green manufacturing while advancing the circular economy."
