Laghu Udyog Bharati-Karnataka in association with IMS Foundation is hosting a three-day 6th Edition of India Manufacturing Show 2023 scheduled for November 2-3-4, 2023 at BIEC in Bangalore. Ministry of Defence, Government of India has extended its support for India Manufacturing Show 2023.
Rajnath Singh, Raksha Mantri has consented be the Chief Guest and will inaugurate the Exhibition along with Prahlad Joshi, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs.
India Manufacturing Show: IMS 2023 will provide an ideal platform to the exhibitors to showcase their latest Technologies, Machineries and Equipment, R&D, Communications and Logistics, in the Aerospace & Defense Engineering, Automation & Robotics, Energy & Environment Electronics and Electricals and General Engineering, as 'who is who' from India and Overseas-MNCs, Foreign OEMs, Central Government Organisations, State Governments and its departments, Corporates and MSMEs will be participating.
It will also have comprehensive B2B interactions, and is expected to have participation from over 5 countries and several state pavilions. On all the three days, the event will be a Conclave of Policy Makers, CEOs, industry leaders, domain experts, Scientists and Engineers associated with these sectors who will be sharing their ideas and thought process to the targeted audiences.
IMS 2023 is a unique platform for technology transfer, innovations, business meets and joint ventures helping to identify potential investors to boost industrial production, collaboration and international trade.
The key focus sectors of the 6th Edition are on five different verticals all related to Aerospace, Defence and General Engineering segments vis-?-vis: Aerospace and Defence, Automation, Robotics and Drones, Electricals and Electronics, General Engineering, Energy Environment and EV Transportation.
The three-day expo spread over Two Halls will be the largest exhibition for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in Aerospace and Defense and General Engineering industries. IMS 2023 will provide a great opportunity to MSMEs from diverse Industry sectors like Auto Industry, Industrial Engineering, Electronics and Automation etc. to showcase their capabilities to the OEMs, DPSUs and Armed Forces.
As is the custom, IMS 2023 will also host a Vendor Development Program, B2B meetings and Conferences at the Exhibition. The event is being supported by overseas as well as leading Industry bodies of India. The last Edition will saw over 400 exhibitors, 20,000 business delegates and 150 experts addressing conference and Vendor Development Programmes. The participants in the event will include leaders from large global and Indian OEMs, Defense PSUs and Ordinance Factories as well as DRDO Labs. This time over 800 exhibitors will be displaying their latest technological innovations to the world.
DPSUs like DRDO, ISRO, HAL, ADA, Ordinance Factory, ADE, BEL, BHEL, BEML have also extended their support to the Expo. Top International Aerospace companies will be exhibiting their latest innovations at the Exhibition. The earlier five editions in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017 and 2022 were all a grand success as it was steered by Industry stalwarts including Anand Mahindra, Sajjan Jindal, Vikram Kirloskar and Ramadas.
The participating companies at the expo had hugely benefits in the last. Even this year the focus area that of Aerospace and Defence and also related segments are very vigorously promoted by Government of India under the Atmanirbhar Bharat where Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji?s objective is to achieve atleast 30-40 percent indigenization component.

Singh outlined adaptive defence as a strategy requiring situational awareness, flexibility, resilience, and integration with advanced technologies to respond effectively to unpredictable challenges.
